About this design
A nailed hand grips the rough wood of the cross while the other lies open, palm up, surrendered. It is one of the quietest, most powerful images in the Christian story, and seeing it pulled out of a slab of walnut or oak stops people in their tracks. The deep shadows and weathered grain texture make the whole scene feel ancient and real, like something carved by hand over many evenings.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built to read clearly across the whole panel. The hands, the nail head, the grain of the timber, and the folds of cloth all hold their depth so nothing flattens out under the tool. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it runs well on a CNC router or comes through cleanly on a resin or FDM 3D printer. For the cleanest result, rough the form with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent to pull out the fingers and the worn cross texture. Use it for church wall plaques, devotional panels, prayer room art, Easter and Holy Week pieces, or quiet keepsake gifts.
