About this design
A weary shepherd walks a rocky path with a lamb resting across his shoulders, his staff steady in one hand. It is the oldest picture of mercy in the book, the one who goes after the one that wandered off. Carve this and you end up with a piece that stops people mid-sentence, the kind of panel that earns a quiet spot on a wall and stays there for years.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL with a lot going on in the best way. You get the deep folds of the robe, the texture of the lamb's wool, the broken twigs and scattered stones, and a hill country that recedes into real background depth. The layered scene gives your machine plenty to bite into, so the toolpaths read clean and the shadows fall right once it is off the table. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it runs well on a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a resin or FDM 3D printer. For the cleanest result, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at a 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the faces, the wool, and the fine brush. Walnut, maple, and basswood all flatter this one. Think church decor, prayer room panels, baptism and confirmation gifts, or a centerpiece for a Christian home.
