About this design
A full set of lips caught mid-parting, teeth just visible, every plane chiseled with that raw hand-carved bite. Set against a slab of weathered oak, it reads bold and a little dangerous. Carve it once and it becomes the piece people stop and touch, fingers tracing the deep ridges where the gouge marks would be.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, confident carving. The depth is genuinely sculptural, so the lips lift off the background with real shadow, and the faceted texture across the surface holds detail without fussy noise. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs just as happily on a 3D printer or a laser engraver if you want to deep-engrave instead of route. For machining, rough the form with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover to clear the bulk fast, then drop to a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover for the finishing pass that brings out the lip ridges and teeth. Run it in wood, MDF, or acrylic. It makes a striking wall panel, a statement plaque for a studio or salon, or a conversation-piece gift for someone with nerve.
