Islamic geometric patterns, arabesque scrollwork, Turkish and Moroccan tile motifs, calligraphy panels and arches in the style of a mihrab. This ornament has been carved into wood and stone for a thousand years, and it suits CNC work better than almost any other tradition because it is built on precise repeating geometry.

The patterns tile and mirror cleanly, so a single file becomes a door, a screen or a full wall panel. Depth is shallow and even, which makes them fast to carve and ideal for laser grayscale engraving as well. Maple, walnut and mahogany suit them. Yes. The geometric panels are drawn on a true repeat so they tile edge to edge for screens and large panels.
Is the calligraphy accurate?
The calligraphy panels were checked by native readers so the letterforms and phrases are correct.
