About this design
Four horses crowd the top rail of an old paddock fence, ears up, watching you walk across the yard. You can almost hear them snort. The manes fall in real strands, the noses catch the light, and the dry weeds at the base sway like a late autumn morning at the barn. Carved in wood, this one stops people in the hallway and makes them lean in close.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for deep, honest sculpting. The faces, the grain of the fence boards, and the tangle of grass all read clearly even on a modest panel, and the toolpaths come out clean with very little sanding to chase. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, ArtCAM, and Carveco, and it runs just as happily on a 3D printer or a laser if depth carving is your thing. For a CNC router, rough it with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover for those fine mane lines and soft nostrils. Scale it up for a mantel piece or down for a plaque. Walnut, maple, oak, even basswood, all of them suit this western mood. Think barn signs, stable wall art, ranch decor, and one very good gift for the horse person in your life.
Download it the moment you check out and get carving. Commercial use is included, so make these for your shop, sell them at the county fair, or hand one to a friend who lives for the saddle. Add it to your cart and put four horses on someone's wall.
