About this design
Two arowana glide across the panel, one rising, one curling back on itself, every scale catching the light like real fish suspended mid-swim. Carved in good hardwood and rubbed with a stain wash, this relief turns into the kind of piece an angler stops and studies. The hand-tooled background, with its chiseled ripple texture, frames the fish and pushes them forward off the surface.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean machining. The depth is layered so the scales, fins, and trailing barbels read sharp without fighting your bit, and the carved-out border gives the whole panel that hand-worked look. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs on a CNC router, a 3D printer, or a laser set up for relief work. Scale it up for a statement wall panel or down for a plaque or gift. For the cleanest result, rough it with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then finish with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover. Run it in hardwood, MDF, or acrylic, and a stain or paint wash will pull every scale and grain line into focus.
