The whole scene sits inside a rough-hewn timber frame that looks split from a single slab. Carved in wood, this one stops people in the hallway.

The layered depth does real work here: the spreading oak branches, the textured leaves, the hunter perched on his platform, and the buck's antlers all read sharp because the relief gives them honest shadow.
