About this design
A big bull moose looks out from the treeline, antlers spread wide against a jagged mountain peak. Carve this one in walnut or maple and you get that quiet north-woods feeling locked into a single panel: the river bend, the spruce, the heavy shoulders of an old bull who has seen a few hard winters. It is the kind of piece that stops people in a cabin hallway.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, layered carving. The depth is staged so the foreground rocks and pines read sharp while the moose head sits proud in the middle ground and the mountains fade soft behind. Fur, antler grain, and bark all hold their detail when you run a proper finishing pass. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs well on a CNC router, a resin or FDM 3D printer, or a laser set up for depth work. For the cleanest result, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at a 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine texture. Scale it to whatever your blank allows, from a small plaque to a full lodge sign. Think wall art, hunting camp decor, mantel panels, or a gift for the outdoorsman in your life.
