About this design
A weary cowboy leans into a quiet song, hat tipped low, guitar resting on his knee while his horse grazes behind him and a log cabin sits tucked among the pines. It is the kind of scene that carries a story in every shadow. Finished in wood, this one stops people mid-step and pulls them in close to read the grain.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for deep, layered carving. The foreground figure, the flowing mane of the horse, the weathered cabin boards, and that wall of tall evergreens all sit at different depths, so the toolpaths read with real dimension and clean transitions. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs nicely on a 3-axis CNC router. You can also adapt it for laser engraving or 3D printing if that is your setup. For the best surface, hog out the bulk with a 6mm end mill at forty percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose at a tight ten percent stepover to pull out the fine detail in the face, the fern fronds, and the pine needles. Use it for wall art, a Western cabin sign, a music room centerpiece, or a one-off gift for the country picker in your life.
This is an instant digital download, and commercial use is included, so carve it for yourself, sell the finished pieces at shows, or gift it to a friend who lives for old trail songs. Add it to your cart and put the chips on the floor.
