About this design
A cowboy kneels in the dust, hat pressed to his chest, head bowed beside a rough wooden cross. His horse waits quietly behind him, saddle still cinched, while a long mountain horizon stretches across the back. There is a stillness in this scene that carves into wood beautifully, the kind of piece people stop and look at twice.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean machining and real depth. You get the folds in his long coat, the worn leather of the saddle, the muscle in the horse, and that layered background that pulls the eye out toward the hills. The file is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs well on a CNC router or a 3D printer. For the cut, hog out the waste first with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to bring up the faces, the gear, and the fine grain. Run it in walnut, maple, oak, or resin and the shadows do the rest. Think western wall art, memorial plaques, ranch and lodge decor, man cave panels, and faith-themed gifts.
