First flush of spring, caught in wood. A small cluster of crocus pushes up through cold ground, petals just beginning to open, those bright orange stamens glowing inside each cup. Carve this one and people will lean in close, sure the blooms are real. It has that quiet, hopeful feeling of the season's very first flowers.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL, sculpted with the kind of depth that makes a panel come alive under raking light. You get fine veining across every petal, slender layered leaves, and a rough, chiseled bed of soil and scattered stones that throws the flowers forward. It drops straight into Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, or ArtCAM, and runs clean on a CNC router. For a crisp result, hog out the waste first with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose at around 10 percent stepover to pull out the petal edges and the texture in the ground. Cut it in walnut, oak, or cherry for a wall panel, a headboard accent, a spring-themed sign, or a framed gift.
