About this design
Two axes cross over a circle of rope, and behind them sits a whole wilderness: a pine treeline on one side, jagged peaks on the other, a quiet moon, and a bear walking the bottom edge like he owns the place. This is a high-detail bas-relief STL with real depth built into it. The axe heads stand proud, the rope twist reads crisp, and the layered landscape gives you that sense of distance from foreground bear to far mountains. It runs clean in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and the toolpaths come out smooth on a CNC router. For machining, hog out the bulk with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fur, the wood grain on the handles, and the fine rope detail. You can also run it on a 3D printer for lighter display pieces or feed it through a heightmap workflow on a laser if your setup handles relief.
