About this design
Two fish swing on the line against a framed slice of the shoreline, reeds bending at the water's edge and pines standing back in the haze. The bigger one is caught mid-fight, mouth open, scales catching the light. Carve this and you can almost smell the lake. It is the kind of piece an angler stops and stares at, then asks where you got it.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. The depth is real, from the deep recessed background up to the raised bodies of the fish, with every fin, scale, and bit of grassy texture sculpted to throw honest shadow. The carved border frames the scene like a window, which makes it read well even in softer woods. The file is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs fine on a CNC router or scales down for a 3D printer. For the best surface, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the scales and fine reed work. Walnut, oak, maple, or basswood all suit it. Think cabin plaques, lake house wall art, man cave signs, or a one-off gift for the guy who never stops talking about the one that got away.
