About this design
Two open roses, a cluster of tight buds, and a sweep of leaves curl around the edge of a square plaque and leave the middle wide open. That negative space is the whole point. Carve a name, a wedding date, a quote, or a monogram in the center and let the flowers frame it. The finished piece has that hand-cut look, soft petals catching light against deep shadow in the leaves.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. The petals are layered with real depth, the leaves have vein detail, and the buds sit proud of the background so they read clearly even on smaller plaques. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs on a CNC router or a 3D printer. For a crisp result, rough the shape with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a tight 10 percent stepover to pull out the petal folds and leaf edges. Hardwoods like walnut, cherry, and maple show the contrast best, though it carves nicely in poplar too.
