A fox sits proud along the top of this board, tail curling down the edge to form a natural handle. You can almost feel the cold morning air around it. The fur runs thick and layered, the pose is alert, and the moment you sweep the dust away after the finish pass, that little woodland scene at its feet comes to life. This is the kind of carve people pick up and turn over in their hands.

For a predictable cut, hog out the bulk with a 6mm end mill at forty percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at ten percent stepover for the fine fur and facial detail.
