About this design
A winged angel rises through the clouds, robes caught mid-motion, while below a weary figure shoulders the cross up a rocky hill. There is real drama in this scene. Once it comes off the machine in walnut or cherry, the halo catches the light and the deep shadows between the wings make the whole panel feel alive, like something carved by hand over many quiet evenings.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, predictable cutting. The depth is generous, with crisp folds in the fabric, feather definition in the wings, and that craggy textured border framing the figures. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, ArtCAM, and Carveco, and it cuts well on any standard CNC router. You can also run it on a 3D printer for painted or cast pieces, or use it as a height map for relief laser engraving. For the cleanest result, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a tight 10 percent stepover to pull out the faces, the feathers, and the grain of the cross. Scale it up for a church plaque or down for a small prayer-room keepsake and the detail holds either way.
This is an instant digital download, and commercial use is included, so you are free to carve it for your own walls or sell finished pieces at shows and in your shop. Add it to your cart, send it to your machine, and turn a block of wood into a guardian angel worth handing down. Carve it, gift it, or build a whole line of Christian decor around it.
