About this design
A grizzled wirehaired pointer fills the frame, that wise old face framed by a younger dog at his side, ducks lifting off behind them and a shotgun resting in the reeds. This is the kind of scene a bird hunter recognizes in a heartbeat. Carve it and you can almost smell the marsh grass at first light.
What you get is a high-detail bas-relief STL built to show off texture. The coarse wire coat, the soft fur of the pup, the layered feathers on the rising ducks, the long blades of cattail grass, all of it reads with real depth once the tool clears the field. It runs cleanly through Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it is ready for a CNC router, a 3D printer, or a laser engraver working from a heightmap. For a sharp carve, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at a forty percent stepover, then bring out the fur and feather detail with a 3mm ball nose at ten percent stepover. Scale it to whatever your stock allows, from a cabin plaque to a full mantel panel. It makes honest wall art, lodge signs, man cave decor, and gifts that any upland hunter will hang with pride.
