About this design
Two hands locked together, fingers laced tight, one wrist still wearing its watch. There is a whole story in that grip. Carve this in walnut or maple and you get a piece that stops people mid-step, the kind of panel a couple keeps on the wall for thirty years and never tires of. The fractured, almost windswept background pushes the hands forward and makes the embrace feel alive.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, deep carving. The sculpting holds real anatomy: tendons across the back of the hand, the soft press of fingertips, the band and face of the watch, even faint marks across the knuckles. It runs smoothly in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and the file is ready for a CNC router, a resin or FDM 3D printer, or deep laser engraving depending on your setup. For the cleanest result, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull every line and crease out of the wood. Use it for wedding plaques, anniversary panels, romantic wall art, or a one-off gift that actually means something.
