About this design
A bull moose turns his head into the moonlight, antlers spread wide against a ridge of pines and a peak that catches the last bit of evening light. A thin crescent moon and a scatter of stars sit in the circle behind him. Carved into walnut or pine, this one feels like the front porch of a cabin at dusk, quiet and a little wild.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL, built from a piece that was hand carved first and then 3D scanned, so you keep the soft tool marks and real grain instead of that flat computer-perfect look. The depth reads beautifully across the muzzle, the layered antlers, and the distant trees, and the toolpaths run clean from the deep round border out to the fine fur. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it works on a CNC router, a resin or FDM 3D printer, and a laser engraver using a heightmap workflow. For a crisp finish, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover. Scale it to a small plaque or a full lodge panel and the detail holds.
Use it for rustic wall art, cabin and lodge signs, furniture inlays, and gifts for hunters and anyone who loves the backcountry. This is an instant digital download with commercial use included, so carve it, sell your finished pieces, or make one for someone who would hang it over the fireplace.
