About this design
An old warrior stares straight back at you, every line in his face earned. A grizzly rises at his shoulder and a feathered war axe stands tall in his grip. Carve this one and you get a piece that holds the room, the kind of panel people stop and study because the eyes and the worn skin feel alive in the wood.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. The depth is layered well, with the bear's fur, the eagle feathers, and the carved axe handle all reading clearly against the background. Facial wrinkles and texture come through crisp without muddy transitions. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs just as nicely on a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a resin 3D printer. For best results, rough the surface with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then drop down to a 3mm ball nose at a 10 percent stepover for the finishing pass. That second pass is where the face and the fur really sharpen up. Cut it in oak, walnut, or basswood and you have wall art, a cabin or lodge plaque, a statement sign, or a gift built to last.
The file is an instant digital download, so you can be slicing toolpaths within minutes. Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve it, sell the finished pieces at shows and online, or hand it off as a one of a kind gift. Add it to your cart and put the chisel to work.
