About this design
A hooded figure stares out from the grain, the long beaked mask catching shadow in every groove. A raised hand points straight at you, and ravens wheel around the edges like something just spooked them. Carve this one in walnut and finish it dark, and you get a panel that stops people cold in the hallway. It has that old apothecary dread baked right into the wood.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. The depth is layered well, so the mask, the folds of the cloak, and the feathers all read clearly once the dust is blown off. It runs smoothly through Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it is ready for a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a 3D printer. For the best surface, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at a 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine detail in the eyes and the wing tips. Use it for gothic wall art, horror-themed signs, Halloween decor, man cave panels, or one-off gifts for the macabre-minded.
