About this design
A small angel bows her head, hands folded in quiet prayer, feathered wings spread wide above an open scroll. There is a hush to this piece. The blank panel in the center waits for a name, a date, a few words of remembrance, and that is what makes it land so softly when the finished carve comes off the machine.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. The curls in her hair, the layered wing feathers, and the flowers running down both borders all hold their depth without muddy spots or torn edges. The large scroll-style center stays smooth and open, ready for you to personalize it with text or leave it as is. It is shaped and tested for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs nicely on a CNC router or a 3D printer. For a crisp result, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine feather and floral detail. Carve it in oak, walnut, maple, or basswood for memorial wall art, sympathy gifts, prayer room pieces, church displays, or a tender nursery panel.
