About this design
Two purple crocus blooms push up through a bed of moss, petals streaked with fine violet veins and gold centers glowing at the heart. There is something hopeful about the first crocus of the year, and this carve catches that feeling in wood. Finished in walnut or maple, it reads like a tiny window cut into the grain, the flowers leaning toward the light.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, believable results. The petals carry real depth and the layered leaves throw soft shadows, while the mossy base gives the eye a textured foundation to rest on. The file is tested and ready in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, so it drops straight into your workflow for a CNC router, and it slices nicely for a 3D printer too. For the cleanest pull, rough the shape with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to bring out the petal veins and the fine edges of the moss. Use it for floral wall art, spring plaques, botanical signs, cottagecore decor, or a heartfelt handmade gift for a gardener or flower lover.
