About this design
A heavy curl of horn, a steady mountain gaze, and a thick mane that catches the light. This ram looks like it was chiseled out of the raw timber by hand, half emerging from a rough-hewn slab. Carve it once and it pulls the eye across the whole room.
What you get is a high-detail bas-relief STL of a bighorn ram in profile, sculpted with deep, confident relief and grain-like texture through the mane. The toolpaths run clean, so the spiral horn and the fine hair stay crisp without a lot of sanding chase. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, ArtCAM, Carveco, and Fusion 360, and it cuts well on a CNC router, with versions that suit a laser engraver or a 3D printer too. For the best result, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose at a 10 percent stepover to pull out the eye, the nostril, and every strand of that fleece. Run it in hardwood, MDF, or resin to make wall panels, cabin signs, lodge plaques, or a gift a hunter will actually hang up.
