About this design
Two foxes settle into the tall grass at the edge of a den, one leaning close against the other, ears up, eyes calm and watchful. Carve this one and you get that quiet woodland moment locked into wood grain, the kind of panel people stop and run their fingers across. It feels warm, a little wild, and completely handmade.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for depth and clean fur flow. The layered grass blades, the soft rock ledge behind them, and the fine guard hairs across each coat all give your toolpaths something to bite into, so the finished carve reads sharp instead of muddy. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM and Fusion 360, and it runs nicely on a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a 3D printer. For best results, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the eyes, ears, and grass detail. Cut it in walnut, maple, cherry, or MDF and you have a wildlife panel ready for cabin walls, plaques, framed gifts, or rustic signage.
