About this design
A young cowboy sits the saddle with both arms thrown wide, riding straight into a desert full of cactus and tall grass. Above him hangs a bleached longhorn skull flanked by two weathered hats, and the whole scene is wrapped in a thick braided rope frame with lassos coiled along the edge. Carve this one in walnut or cherry and the shadows do half the work for you. It reads like a story the moment the dust comes off.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for deep, dramatic carving. The layered depth gives you real separation between the rider, the framing rope, and the background desert, so the toolpaths stay clean and the highlights pop. It runs in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it suits a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a resin 3D printer. For a crisp result, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine grain in the leather, the rope twist, and the cowboy's shirt. Great for ranch wall art, rodeo room plaques, western signs, and man cave decor.
