About this design
A buck leans down to nuzzle his doe while the forest hums around them. Behind the pair, antlers sweep up through an arch of oak leaves and berries, and below their portraits a little stream runs over mossy rock with younger deer grazing the bank. Carve this one in walnut and the whole woodland feels alive, calm, and quietly proud.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean machining. The layered depth does the heavy lifting here, with the buck and doe standing forward against recessed mountains while the fur texture, ferns, oak leaves, and flowing water hold their detail right down into the lower corner. It is tested and ready in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, so you can drop it in and start cutting on your CNC router. For the best result, rough the piece with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover to clear the bulk fast, then switch to a 3mm ball nose at a tight 10 percent stepover to pull out the antler tines, the eyes, and the fine water ripples. Hardwoods like walnut, cherry, and maple bring out every shadow, but it carves beautifully in pine and poplar too. Think wildlife wall art, cabin and lodge panels, hunting-camp signs, and heirloom gifts.
This is an instant digital download, and commercial use is included, so you are free to carve it, sell the finished panels, or hand one over as a gift the recipient will keep for years. Add it to your library and put it on the spindle.
