About this design
A single paw pressed into wood, claws curved and ready, every strand of fur flowing toward the pads. This design has that quiet wilderness feeling, the kind of mark you'd find on a trail at first light. Carved into oak or walnut, it turns a plain board into something a hunter, a hiker, or anyone who loves wild country would hang with pride.
What you get is a high-detail bas-relief STL built to bring out the texture. The fur reads as real flowing lines, the four toes sit proud above the main pad, and the claws catch the light at the top. It runs smoothly through Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it carves clean on a CNC router or prints well on a 3D printer. For tidy results, rough the shape with a 6mm end mill at a 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine fur grooves. Scale it up for a statement wall panel or keep it small for a cabin sign, a plaque, or a gift. It also adapts for laser engraving if you convert the file to suit your setup.
