About this design
Three little woodland gnomes lean over a leafy twig, beards spilling forward, pointed caps tipped at playful angles. One wears a snail shell for a hat. There is mischief in their eyes and a warmth to the whole scene that makes a finished carve feel like something pulled straight out of a storybook forest. Hang it in a garden room or a kid's bedroom and it draws a smile every single time.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built to carve cleanly. The recessed background with its chiseled, stippled texture gives the gnomes real depth, while the leaves and branch hold crisp edges from rough pass to finish pass. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, ArtCAM, Carveco, and Fusion 360, and it runs well on a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a 3D printer. For wood or MDF, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then bring the fine detail up with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover. The result works beautifully as rustic wall art, a carved plaque, a nursery sign, or a gift for the gnome lover in your life. Pine, walnut, and oak all read nicely against that hand-carved look.
This is an instant digital download, so you can be cutting chips the same day. Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve these gnomes, sell them at markets, or wrap one up as a one-of-a-kind present. Add it to your library and let the little forest crew get to work.
