The two-tone coat reads beautifully in wood, with the dark back and pale belly separated by careful sculpting rather than flat lines. It carves smoothly in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it is ready for CNC routers, 3D printers, and laser engraving setups. For the cleanest result, rough the shape with a 6mm end mill running around 40 percent stepover, then switch to a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover for the finishing pass. That combination pulls out the whisker detail, the eyes, and the fine strands along the tail without leaving ridges.
