About this design
A bald eagle sits watchful on a weathered branch, head turned, hooked beak catching the light, every feather sharp enough to feel. The split, cracked wood backdrop frames him like he carved his own perch out of an old fallen tree. Cut this one and people stop talking when they walk past it. That is the kind of presence this bird has.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, dependable carving. The feather layering runs deep, from the smooth crown down through the overlapping flight feathers, so you get real shadow and dimension instead of a flat outline. The model is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it runs well on a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a resin 3D printer. For a crisp result, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine barbs and the texture in the bark. Walnut, maple, MDF, or epoxy boards all hold this detail nicely. Use it for cabin plaques, patriotic wall panels, lodge signage, or a standout gift.
You get an instant digital download with commercial use included, so carve it for your own walls or sell the finished pieces at your shows and shop. Hunters, veterans, and anyone who loves wildlife will fight over the first one off your machine. Add it to your library and put a chisel to it this weekend.
