About this design
A bald eagle holds the branch and turns its head, that white crown catching the light while the dark wings fold tight against its back. Carve this one and you get the bird that means something to a lot of people: steady, watchful, proud. The pine needles below and the rough timber backdrop give the whole panel a settled, woodland weight that reads beautifully once a stain wash sinks into the recesses.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for real depth. Every feather layer is sculpted to stack, so the breast, the primaries, and that long white tail each read as their own plane instead of mushing together. It runs clean in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and the toolpaths stay tidy on a CNC router or scale down for a 3D printer. For the cleanest result, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a 10 percent stepover to pull the beak, the talons gripping the branch, and the fine pine needles into focus. Cut it in walnut, oak, MDF, or hardwood. It makes a strong wall panel, a cabin or lodge centerpiece, an office display, or a meaningful gift for a veteran or a bird lover.
