About this design
A buck slips through the reeds, caught dead center in the rifle scope, the crosshairs holding steady on the moment before the shot. That tension is the whole story here, and it carves into wood beautifully. The bolt-action rifle stretches across the foreground, leading the eye straight into a deep circular scope that frames the deer mid-stride against a far tree line. It feels like you are right behind the glass.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL, sculpted with real depth and clean layering so the carve reads sharp from the rifle body and scope rings down to the grass and fur. The file is built for clean toolpaths and tested in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, so you can drop it in and get straight to cutting. Run it on a CNC router for the best results, or scale it for a 3D printer if that is your setup. For machining, hog out the waste first with a 6mm end mill at a 40 percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the foliage texture and the deer's muscle. It works in oak, walnut, maple, or basswood, and makes a striking wall panel, lodge sign, man cave piece, or gift for the hunter in your life.
