About this design
Picture a crocodile pushing its way out through an open zipper, scaled snout, gaping jaws, ridged tail and clawed foot all spilling across the panel. It is the kind of surreal piece that stops people mid-step and pulls them in close to run a finger over every scale. Carved deep into walnut or oak, the contrast between the worn timber and that armored hide reads almost real.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean machining. The sculpt holds crisp definition in the zipper teeth, the pull tab, and the layered reptile scales, with enough depth variation to throw real shadow once it comes off the machine. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, Fusion 360, and ArtCAM, so you can drop it straight into your workflow. Run it on a CNC router, cut it on a laser as a depth-based relief, or send it to an FDM or resin 3D printer. For the cleanest result, rough the form with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose stepping over at 10 percent to pull out the fine scale work. Resize it to suit your stock and your bed.
Good for statement wall art, a man-cave plaque, a carved door panel, or a one-off gift for the reptile lover who has everything. This is an instant digital download with commercial use included, so carve it for yourself, build a batch to sell, or hand it over as a gift. Add it to your cart and put it on the machine tonight.
