About this design
An iguana stares back at you from the wood, every scale catching the light like a tiny tile. The spines run sharp along the crest, the throat folds sag with real weight, and that big watchful eye holds the whole face together. Finished in walnut with a soft stain wash, this is the kind of carve that stops people mid-step and makes them reach out to touch it.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for depth and clean toolpaths. The scaled skin, the ridged brow, and the loose folds under the jaw all read crisp once you put the finishing pass through them. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs well on a CNC router or a resin 3D printer. Cut it in hardwood, MDF, or acrylic for wall panels, reptile room decor, pet shop signage, classroom science displays, or a one-off gift for the herp lover in your life. For machining, rough the block with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover to clear waste fast, then drop down to a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover for the fine scale texture and the spines. Scale it larger if you want those tiny scales to pop, and a dark wash worked into the recesses will throw real shadow across the face.
