About this design
A single broad oak stands rooted in a panel, its canopy spreading in soft clusters of leaves while the trunk twists down into knotted roots and a tuft of grass. There is something steady and quiet about it, the kind of piece that anchors a room and makes people stop and look. Finished in walnut with a stain wash worked into the leaves, it reads like an old hand-carved heirloom.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. The layered foliage, the ridged bark, and the framed border all carry real depth, so shadows fall naturally across the carve and the leaf clusters keep their separation. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs well on a CNC router or a 3D printer. Cut it in walnut, oak, maple, or MDF for wall art, a statement sign, cabin and farmhouse decor, or a gift for the tree lover in your life. For machining, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover to clear the bulk fast, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine bark lines and the edges of each leaf. Scale it up a little if you want those small details to stay crisp.
