About this design
A single broad oak stands rooted in a panel, its canopy spreading in soft clusters of leaves while the trunk twists down into knotted roots and a tuft of grass. Finished in walnut with a stain wash worked into the leaves, it reads like an old hand-carved heirloom.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting. For machining, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover to clear the bulk fast, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine bark lines and the edges of each leaf.
