About this design
A wood duck breaks low over the water with wings spread wide, feathers fanned, while a heron stands watch on a weathered cabin roof. Below, a boy and his retriever wait in the reeds as the swamp goes quiet. This is the moment every duck hunter knows by heart, and carved in wood it pulls a whole story out of a single panel.
What you get is a high-detail bas-relief STL packed with texture, from the layered wing feathers and clapboard barn siding to the palm fronds, cattails, and rippling bayou water. The depth is built to read cleanly under the spindle, so foreground ducks pop while the background cabins and trees sink back into proper layers. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it runs on a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a 3D printer. For the cleanest result, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine feather and grain detail. Carve it in walnut, maple, cherry, or MDF for cabin wall art, lodge signs, mantel panels, or a gift that any waterfowler will hang with pride.
This is an instant digital download with commercial use included, so you can carve it for yourself, build a batch for the shop, or hand one to a hunting buddy. Add it to your library and put it on the machine this weekend.
