About this design
A young red fox studies you from inside a broken tree hollow, ears alert, eyes catching the light. The bark splits and curls around the opening, and the fox's fur runs in deep, flowing strands right down to its chest. Carve this one and people will stop, lean in, and reach out to touch it.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean carving. The depth is layered well, with the fox's muzzle and brow standing proud of the rough bark behind it, so your toolpaths read crisp instead of muddy. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, ArtCAM, Carveco, and Fusion 360, and it runs on a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a 3D printer. For wood or MDF, rough it out with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then drop to a 3mm ball nose at a 10 percent stepover to pull the fine fur and bark texture. Cut it in walnut, oak, cherry, or hardwood-look resin and you have a wildlife wall plaque, a cabin sign, or a one-of-a-kind gift for anyone who loves foxes and the woods.
The file is an instant digital download, so you can have it on the machine within minutes. Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve it, sell the finished pieces at shows and online, or hand one over as a gift nobody else will have. Add it to your library and put it on the spindle.
