About this design
A little girl in a mustard dress sleeps against the chest of a great brown bear, her head tucked into his fur while the forest stands tall behind them. There is a hush to this scene, the kind that makes a finished carve stop people in the hallway. Run your hand across it and you feel the bear's thick coat, the braid in her hair, the soft fold of her sleeve. It tells a whole story without a single word.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean cutting and real depth. The layered fur, the calm faces, and the timber trunks all carve with crisp definition and smooth gradients, no muddy transitions. The file is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs nicely on a CNC router, a laser engraver using a heightmap workflow, or a 3D printer for display pieces. For wood, I rough it with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then bring out the detail with a 3mm ball nose at a 10 percent stepover. Scale it to suit a nursery plaque, a cabin wall panel, a keepsake gift, or a mantel centerpiece. Walnut, maple, and basswood all suit the warmth of this subject.
The download lands in your account right after checkout, so you can be cutting today. Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve these, sell them at shows, and take custom orders. Add it to your library, load your stock, and let this quiet little guardian come out of the wood.
