About this design
A hooded Christ cradles a frightened lamb while two snarling wolves press in from both sides, jaws bared. His head bows low, calm in the middle of the threat, and the lamb tucks into his arms like it knows it is safe. Carved at the bottom is the warning from John 15:18, "the world hated Me before it hated you." Finished in walnut or cherry, this piece carries real weight. It is a sermon you can hang on a wall.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean milling. The depth runs through the face and beard, the soft wool of the lamb, the folds of the hood, and the matted fur and teeth of the wolves, so the layers separate the way good relief work should. The lettering and the John 15:18 reference at the base read sharp once cut. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it scales for a CNC router, a laser engraver, or a 3D printer. For a faithful carve, rough the form first with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a tight 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine fur and facial detail. Use it for church and chapel art, statement wall plaques, scripture decor, or a heartfelt gift.
