About this design
A snarling wolf lunges with bared fangs while the shepherd turns away, cradling a frightened lamb against his chest. You can feel the tension in every fold of his robe and the wind dragging through his hair. It is the kind of scene that stops people mid-step when it hangs on a wall, raw, protective, and full of faith. Carved in wood, that drama only deepens as light rakes across the grain.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean machining and real depth. The layering reads beautifully, from the coarse fur of the wolves to the soft wool of the lamb and the long sweep of drapery underneath. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it cuts well on a CNC router, a resin or FDM 3D printer, or a laser engraver with the right settings. For a crisp finish, hog out the waste with a 6mm end mill at roughly 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at about 10 percent stepover to pull out the faces, fur, and folds. Use it for church panels, prayer room art, pastor gifts, or a centerpiece carving for the living room.
