About this design
A wolf throws its head back and calls to a cratered full moon, every strand of fur cut deep and flowing into a fan of feathers below. There is something old and quiet about this one. Carve it, hang it on a cabin wall, and you get that lonesome howl frozen in wood.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for CNC routers. The layered fur, the moon's pitted surface, and the long feather barbs all read with crisp shadow and real depth, so the finished panel looks hand-carved rather than machined. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, Fusion 360, and ArtCAM, and it works on hardwood, MDF, or resin. You can also run it through a 3D printer or adapt it for deep laser engraving. For clean results, rough the shape with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at a tight 10 percent stepover to pull out the fur and feather detail. Use it for wall plaques, lodge panels, signs, headboards, or gifts for anyone drawn to wolves and the wild.
The file is an instant digital download, so you can be cutting tonight. Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve these, sell them at shows or online, and keep the profit. Add it to your cart, send it to your machine, and let the howl come through the grain.
