About this design
A lone wolf throws its head back and howls at a full moon while pine silhouettes crowd the ridge behind it. Carve this one and you get that hush of a cold night in the high country, the kind of panel people stop and stare at when it hangs above a mantel.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean carving. The fur reads in real strands, the moon sits deep and round behind the wolf, and the pines drop into shadow at the base so the whole scene has layers instead of a flat stamp. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, ArtCAM, Carveco, and Fusion 360, so it drops straight into your usual workflow. Run it on a CNC router through hardwood, MDF, or resin, scale it down for a laser engraver, or send it to a 3D printer. For the toolpaths I get the best result roughing with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then finishing with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine fur and the texture in the moon. Think cabin wall art, lodge plaques, rustic signs, and gifts for anyone who loves wolves and the outdoors.
