About this design
A big largemouth bass swings in from the right with its mouth wide open, and in the middle of the scene a second bass breaks the surface in a spray of water. Behind them stand jagged mountain peaks, a weathered dead tree, and a dark line of pines. It reads like one frozen second of a strike, the kind of piece that stops a person walking past and pulls them in for a closer look.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for carving, not just for show on a screen. The depth is staged well, with the dramatic bass head sitting proud off the surface, the leaping fish layered behind it, and the mountain backdrop falling away into the rustic plank texture. The toolpaths run clean through scales, fins, and bark. It is tested and ready in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it cuts nicely on a CNC router or comes through on a 3D printer. For a crisp result, rough the stock with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose pulled down to a 10 percent stepover. Turn it into a cabin wall plaque, a lake house sign, a man cave centerpiece, or a gift for the angler in your life.
This is an instant digital download, so the file is yours the moment you check out. Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve it, sell the finished pieces at shows and in your shop, or hand one over as a gift. Add it to your library and put it on the machine this weekend.
