About this design
A whole state told in wood. This piece shapes Minnesota into a single panel and fills it with the wildlife people love up north: a bull moose with broad antlers, a loon gliding past a waterfall, a walleye mid-swim, a snapping turtle, a pair of wolves, and the showy lady slipper blooming at the bottom. The bold MINNESOTA banner runs across the top so there is no mistaking the home it celebrates. Carve it and you get a cabin keepsake that feels like the lake country itself.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL with layered depth, from the deep-set pine forest to the raised muscle of the moose and the fine scale work on the walleye. The model was hand-carved first and then 3D scanned, so the wood grain texture and natural knots come through clean and the finished carve looks like real handwork, not a flat computer render. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it runs well on a CNC router, a 3D printer, or a laser using a heightmap workflow. For crisp results, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose finishing pass at a tight 10 percent stepover to pull out the antlers, feathers, and petals. Mill it in walnut, maple, or pine for wall art, lake house plaques, fishing gifts, and shop signs.
