About this design
A human skull sits where a spider's body should be, hairy legs splayed across a cracked stone ground. It is the kind of piece that stops people mid-step. Carve this in oak or walnut and the deep recessed background throws long shadows under the legs, while the cracked cranium catches light like old bone. Equal parts unsettling and beautiful, exactly what a gothic project wants.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean machining. The bristled leg texture, the sunken eye sockets, and the broken skull seams all hold their detail through the cut, so the finished plaque reads as something carved by hand over many hours. It is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs well on a CNC router or a 3D printer. For a crisp result, rough the form first with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then drop in a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover for the finish pass to pull out the fine hair and bone cracks. Use it for horror wall art, Halloween decor, tattoo studio signage, dark fantasy gifts, or a centerpiece plaque for your own collection.

Commercial use is included, which means you are free to carve these, sell them at markets, or gift one to the right strange friend. Add it to your cart, send it to the machine, and watch the skull crawl out of the wood.
