About this design
A gnarled old tree pushes up out of the panel, its trunk twisting like rope before it breaks into a canopy of full, blooming leaf rosettes. The contrast is what sells it. Deep, flowing grain in the trunk against tight, crisp florals up top. Carve this and you get a piece that catches the light differently from every angle, the kind of wall art people walk up to and touch.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL, sculpted and ready to machine. The depth layering is already dialed in, so the recessed background drops away cleanly and the foliage stands proud in real relief. It opens and runs in Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it cuts well on any CNC router. For a clean result, rough the bulk with a 6mm end mill at around 40 percent stepover, then come back with a 3mm ball nose at roughly 10 percent stepover to pull out the leaf veins and the fine grain in the trunk. Run it in walnut, oak, maple, or basswood and you have finished wall art, a headboard panel, a decorative door insert, or a standout housewarming gift.
