About this design
A woman stares straight back at you, her face painted with old tribal marks, feathers crowning her hair. On one side a lion holds steady, on the other a wolf watches the shadows. There is a quiet strength to this piece that fills a room the moment it goes up on the wall. Carve it once and you will understand why people stop and look.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean machining. The depth reads beautifully across the face markings, the layered feathers, the beadwork at her throat, and the fur on both animals, so you get crisp shadow lines without a lot of sanding afterward. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs well on a CNC router, a 3D printer, or a laser using a heightmap workflow. For a CNC carve, rough the panel with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then drop to a 3mm ball nose at a tight 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine detail in the eyes, feathers, and tribal patterns. Scale it to whatever your stock allows, from a small plaque to a bold centerpiece panel. Walnut, maple, and oak all suit the rustic, spiritual mood of this one.
This is an instant digital download, and commercial use is included. Carve it for your own wall, build it into a feature panel, or sell finished pieces at your next show. Add it to your cart, send it to your machine, and let the chips fly.
