About this design
A lone rider walks his horse along the treeline while the high peaks rise behind him, and off to the right a weathered rancher watches it all from under the brim of his hat. There is a whole story packed into this panel: dust, distance, and the kind of quiet that only open country knows. Carved into wood, it reads like a memory you can run your hand across.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean carving. The depth is layered well, so the mountains sit back, the pine forest stacks in front of them, and the cowboy portrait pushes forward as the bold focal point on the right. Toolpaths come off smooth, with crisp lines in the hat, the horse, and that bare dead tree. The file is tested and ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, and ArtCAM, and it runs on a CNC router or a 3D printer. For a clean result, hog out the waste with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then come back and finish with a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover. Run it in hardwood for a rustic plaque, a lodge sign, or a statement panel for a man cave, ranch house, or western bar.
