About this design
Two icons of the American wild share one scene. A heavy-shouldered bison stands in tall grass while a grizzly lunges from the river with a trout clamped in its jaws, water spraying off its fur. Behind them, jagged peaks and a wall of pines fill the horizon. Carve this and you get the kind of panel that stops people in a lodge hallway.
This is a high-detail bas-relief STL built for clean, deep carving. The fur, the rushing water, the layered mountains, and the trees all sit at different depths, so the toolpaths read with real dimension once the finish pass cleans them up. It is ready for Aspire, VCarve Pro, Carveco, ArtCAM, and Fusion 360, and it runs well on a CNC router. You can also scale it for 3D printing or adapt it for laser work. For a sharp result, rough the shape with a 6mm end mill at 40 percent stepover, then switch to a 3mm ball nose at 10 percent stepover to pull out the fine fur and water spray. Walnut, maple, and cherry all suit the rugged subject. Use it for cabin and lodge wall art, mantel panels, hunting and fishing room decor, or one-off gifts for the outdoorsmen in your life.
